San Francisco has sure been an eye opener. We had a great summer of traveling and are now back in the city. The land with fresh coastal air and crazy people. The other night my husband went outside to take our dog and a girl asked to use his cell phone. He assumed she was in trouble so handed over his cell without thinking twice. As soon as the girl dialed the number she proceeded to scream at the person on the other side of the phone. Turns out she didn't need the phone for an emergency but to continue the fight she was in with her boyfriend. As my husband awkwardly reached for his phone to tell the girl he needed to go inside she hung up and walked away quickly. Nice. The next day we went to Costco and while we were standing in line behind an Asian woman we noticed something odd about her. She was buying 3 boxes of latex gloves while wearing a pair of latex gloves. Who does that? The checkout girl didn't say anything but I knew she was thinking "Wow, you like rubber huh?" It was just too much. Why are people here so different and I swear it's the only place in the world where you have to send one person to scout for a parking space, while the other drives around in circles. It's good to be home. Goodbye summer...hello fall.
